Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus

ebook
Ludwig Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus was first published in German in 1921. The first English translation was published in 1922. According to the author, "The book deals with the problems of philosophy and shows, as I believe, that the method of formulating these problems rests on the misunderstanding of the logic of our language. Its whole meaning could be summed up somewhat as follows: What can be said at all can be said clearly; and whereof one cannot speak thereof one must be silent." Per the translator, "The original publication was a parallel translation; after the introduction, even pages contained the German original, odd pages the English translation. This ebook has been reformatted to contain the English translation first and the German original after that."
